Tokenised equities trade around the clock, yet an October IMF report found them far less liquid than the shares they track. In a written interview with Crypto Briefing, Gravity Team Co-Founder and CEO Mārtiņš Beņķītis said round-the-clock trading alone cannot close that gap. Market makers need funded capital to absorb large orders while stock exchanges are shut, and redemption against the underlying shares has to work reliably. "Prices can reflect new information during the weekend. Making those prices usable for larger transactions requires funded capacity to take the other side," he said.
